Helping travelers dream, discover and book their next adventure

Client

Pentravel

The existing Pentravel website didn’t fully support how users want to research, compare, and plan holidays online. Important package information was not easy to scan, content areas were too limited for rich destination detail, and navigation flows made it harder than necessary for users to discover trips that matched their interests.

Pentravel needed an updated experience that reflected a modern visual language, showcased high-impact travel imagery, and gave users intuitive paths to find, save, and revisit holiday options. The design also needed to support key business goals, including dedicated sections for cruise and vessel details, clear views of flight specials, and more flexibility for SEO copy to help drive organic traffic.

From a usability perspective, the new site needed to make it seamless for users to save packages to favourites so they could return later and continue planning. It also had to remove friction in connecting with a local branch by using geolocation, giving users clear choices to reach out or visit in person. Finally, the site needed to surface Pentravel’s strong Hellopeter rating to build trust and reduce uncertainty during decision-making.

Mapping out a better path

The core site architecture was restructured to prioritise clear content hierarchy, easy scanning of package details, and simple pathways to browse, filter, and compare holiday options. I designed flexible templates that balance large imagery with key information so users can get a quick overview without feeling overwhelmed.

Exploration and discovery

To make it easy for people to find the right holiday without feeling lost, I designed familiar search and filter patterns that feel intuitive from the start.

Once they start exploring, the site surfaces destinations and packages that line up with their interests, helping them discover options they might not have thought of yet. This makes browsing feel more like an inspiring journey than a frustrating search.

Trusted by travelers

Pentravel’s #1 rating on Hellopeter is more than just a badge — it’s proof that customers trust them to deliver great holiday experiences. I made sure this endorsement is visible throughout the site, so users feel reassured and confident when planning and booking their next trip.
